Is Bed, Bath and Beyond ditching coupons?
The Wall Street Journal (sub. required) 10/05/2016Bed, Bath and Beyond is testing a membership model whereby consumers who pay an annual $29 fee receive 20 percent discounts on regularly priced merchandise and free shipping on all online orders. The chain’s CEO Steven Temares said the retailer needs to become “more personalized” in its marketing to consumers instead of simply blanketing them with coupons.
