J. Crew criticized for kid’s ‘feminist too’ t-shirt

J. Crew posted an image of a young boy wearing a t-shirt that read: “I am a feminist too.” Reactions to the post on Instagram drew rebukes for the political messaging. The shirt, made by printshop, which markets its clothing under the “wear what you care about” tagline, retails for $29.50. Ten percent of printshop sales are donated to Girl Up, a United Nations foundation that supports adolescent girls around the world.
