J&J ordered to pay $417M in case tying baby powder to cancer
The New York Times 08/22/2017A jury in Los Angeles has ordered Johnson & Johnson to pay $417 million in damages to Eva Echeverria, who sued the company after studies were published that linked talcum powder to cancer. Ms. Echeverria said she developed ovarian cancer after using J&J’s baby powder for decades.
