Kohl’s CEO says retailer has hit its ‘low point’ for 2020

Kohl’s CEO Michelle Gass said the chain’s net sales decrease of 43.5 percent in the quarter ending May 2 marks “the low point of the year” for the retailer. Ms. Gass said, “For half the quarter, our stores had no sales,” noting that closures were mandated by states in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
