Kraft Heinz isn’t talking deal with Mondelez

An earlier report that Kraft Heinz was in talks with Mondolez about an acquisition of that company has been refuted, according to unnamed parties familiar with the matter. The rumor of the deal had sent shares of Mondolez higher. Kraft Foods Inc. changed its name to Mondolez in 2012 after spinning off its grocery business in North America. The spun off business, which was renamed Kraft Foods Group Inc., merged with Heinz last year.
