Lawsuit seeks to block Amazon/Whole Foods deal

A Whole Foods Market shareholder has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking to halt Amazon.com’s acquisition of the grocery chain. The suit filed in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas claims that Whole Foods’ proxy statement is misleading and does not disclose information important to the chain’s shareholders.
