Lundgren announces plans to step down as Macy’s CEO

Terry Lundgren will step down as the chief executive of Macy’s, Inc. next year while retaining his executive chairman title. Jeff Gennette, elected president of Macy’s in 2014, will succeed Mr. Lundgren as CEO of the company in the first quarter of 2017.
