Macy’s reports bigger than expected drop in comp sales

Same-store sales at Macy’s fell 3.6 percent in the third quarter, worse than the 2.6 percent decline expected by analysts. Net sales for the company fell 6.1 percent, its eleventh straight quarterly decline.
