Mail delivery would be slower and cost more under new plan

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is expected to propose a 10-year plan for the U.S. Postal service that will result in higher postage rates and slower first class delivery times. Mr. DeJoy, who has been criticized for slower delivery times since being appointed to the post during the Trump administration, argues that the USPS will lose $160 billion over the next decade and that austerity measures are required to address the situation.
