McD’s customers respond enthusiastically to fresh over frozen

McDonald’s introduced the use of fresh meat in its quarter pounders in May of 2018 accompanied by a big marketing push. The switch from frozen seems to have paid off nicely. The chain today reported average quarter pounder sales increases of 30 percent over the last year and believes the change is helping the chain make gains in the “informal eating out” category for the first time in five years.
