McD’s testing alternatives to plastic straws

McDonald’s announced today that it will begin testing alternatives to plastic straws in select locations in the U.S. The fast-food giant has been under pressure by environmental groups to drop single-use plastic straws, which don’t biodegrade easily and create litter in dumps, on roadsides and waterways.
