Every year around the Christmas holiday, Meijer store managers surprise randomly-selected customers by telling them the items in their shopping carts are on the chain. This year, Meijer gave a gift to one customer in each of its 230 stores across the Midwest. Cashiers serving the customers receive a $100 gift card.
