Millions expected to miss work on Super Bowl Monday

As many as 17.5 million Americans will not be showing up for work on Monday as they recover from the previous day’s Super Bowl festivities, according to a survey by the Workforce Institute at Kronos. About 11.1 million workers will make use of pre-approved time off on Monday, while 4.7 million plan to call out sick.
