More marketplace sellers to collect state sales tax on Amazon

States including Florida and New Jersey are offering a partial amnesty to third-parties if they start collecting sales taxes on goods sold on Amazon and other online marketplaces. The deadline for accepting an offer, made by about half the states in the U.S., is Oct. 17.
