Nasty Gal laying off workers, closing stores

Nasty Gal has sought permission from a bankruptcy court to terminate leases on two stores it operates in California. It has also notified 70 employees in a distribution center in Kentucky of layoffs. Nasty Gal has sold its brand name and intellectual property to Boohoo.com for $20 million.
