Neighborhood Goods gets funding to open second ‘future’ store

Neighborhood Goods, regarded by some as the future of department stores, has received $14.5 million in its latest round of funding. The money raised will enable the retailer to open a 14,000-square-foot location in New York City. Neighborhoods Goods opened its first store in its home market of Plano, TX.
