Nestlé buys controlling stake in hipster coffee company
The New York Times 09/14/2017Nestlé has acquired a 68 percent stake in Blue Bottle, an upscale coffee company that expects to nearly double its store count from 29 to 55 locations this year. The chain’s bean blends retail for $17 for a 12-ounce package to up to $40 for single-origin coffees.
