Investors were stunned after Lego’s full-year sales dropped seven percent last year. It was the first time the company’s sales fell in more than a decade. Last fall, Lego hired Niels Christiansen as its new CEO. Mr. Christiansen sees a future where Lego’s traditional blocks continue to be a big seller while the company also incorporates digital experiences into playing with its products.
