Nike’s online sales jumped 31 following Kaepernick controversy

Nike’s inclusion of Colin Kaepernick, former quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers who began protesting racial injustice in the U.S. by taking a knee during the national anthem two years ago, led to people posting videos of them burning their sneakers online, calls for boycotts of the company and a jump in online sales of 31 percent.
