Simon Property Group, the owner of the Ocean County Mall, has received approval from the Toms River (NJ) Planning Board to demolish a shuttered Sears and rebuild the space to include five restaurants and an unspecified number of retail stores. Sears was one of the original anchors for the 42-year-old mall.
