Nordstrom appears to be Trump tweet resistant
March 7, 2017
Some supporters of President Trump vowed to boycott Nordstrom after the department store chain discontinued the sale of Ivanka Trump clothes due to poor sales. Mr. Trump accused Nordstrom of acting unfairly in a tweet even though the chain reported that it made its decision after seeing sales of his daughter’s line fall 32 percent late last year. The resulting tumult following Mr. Trump’s tweet doesn’t appear to have affected Nordstrom’s business negatively.
