Nordstrom nearing deal to go private

The Nordstrom family, which owns 31.2 percent of Nordstrom, is reportedly close to choosing Leonard Green & Partners to provide the funds needed to take the retailer private again. Leonard Green would provide about $1 billion to help the family complete the deal.
