NYC to require grocery stores to put calorie counts on prepared foods

Convenience stores, supermarkets and other chain retailers selling prepared foods in New York City will soon be required to post calorie counts. The new rules, which go into effect on Monday, will apply to retailers with at least 15 stores nationwide.
