Peloton generates strong, unwanted, attention on social media

A new commercial from Peloton in which a husband gives his wife a Peloton bike and membership has led to a spate of social media posts criticizing the ad for being sexist, classist and generally tone-deaf. The woman in the commercial, who is already very physically fit, says, “I didn’t realize how much this would change me.”
