Consumers have begun to become more accepting of plant-based alternatives to beef and chicken. Will a similar willingness extend to seafood where a variety of companies are working on plant-based and lab-grown options to fish and other animals caught in the wild or raised on commercial farms? Even traditional seafood companies such as Bumble Bee are getting in on the act. The company began partnering with Good Catch, a plant-based maker of fish stick and crab cake alternatives.
