Podcast ads drive product sales

A new poll of 1,000 listeners of podcasts finds that nearly two out of three are more likely to make a purchase after hearing a product advertised on a show. Forty-five percent are more likely to visit a pitched product’s website after hearing it advertised on a podcast, according to the study’s findings released by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Edison Research.
