Following its massively successful launch of the chicken sandwich, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is looking to re-create lightning in a bottle with chocolate beignets. The fast food operator is hoping the limited time offering will bring more customers to its restaurants, with beignets being a well known dessert item in New Orleans, where the company was founded.
