Port logjam could be here for the long haul

Vessels are stacking up in ports on the West Coast and to a lesser degree on the East Coast, and the situation that created the current crisis is not likely to be rectified any time soon. Savannah, the third largest port in the U.S. behind New York-New Jersey and Los Angeles-Long Beach, shipping containers are piled up to five high as goods are almost as slow getting moved out as they were in arriving in the first place.
