From the Workplace to the Classroom, Walgreens Expands Commitment to Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing

Walgreens

Walgreens is expanding its mental health resources to support the growing need for access to these resources. This comes in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, which runs throughout May in the US.

The youth and adolescent population have been the most affected by the exponential increase in mental health conditions over the past few years. Walgreens is collaborating with Mental Health America to expand its Back-to-School campaign, which includes a comprehensive set of new resources available in August for students, parents, caregivers, and school personnel.

Walgreens is expanding its Be Well Connected mental health and wellbeing program and is proud to be recognized for its programs and benefits for team members. Walgreens is also piloting a program aimed at improving health equity in underserved communities, where pharmacists support patients new to medication therapies for mental health conditions.
