Roku has announced the expansion of its Smart Home lineup with the introduction of home monitoring devices.
The Roku Home Monitoring System SE includes entry sensors, a motion sensor, a wire-free keypad, and a hub with a built-in siren. Customers have the option to self-monitor their homes or subscribe to professional 24/7 monitoring. The system is easily set up with guided videos and clear illustrations, requiring no tools.
The products will be available for purchase online at Roku.com and exclusively at Walmart stores and Walmart.com.
The system, developed in partnership with Wyze Labs, is priced at $99 and offers an affordable solution for home monitoring.
Roku has also introduced additional smart home products, including the Roku Smart Light Strip+ SE and the Roku Solar Panel. Integration with the Roku OS allows customers to control the smart home devices using their voice and access features from their Roku TV. The new features will be available as the latest Roku TV OS rolls out in the coming weeks.
The Roku Home Monitoring System SE and additional devices will be available starting today, while the Roku Solar Panel will be available in June.
