U-Haul has announced plans to utilize its Adaptive Reuse program to transform a former Sunbelt Rentals warehouse in Warner Robins, Georgia, into a comprehensive retail, moving, and self-storage facility. The project includes renovating the existing warehouse, constructing a three-story self-storage building, and establishing a separate warehouse for portable moving containers.
This initiative aligns with U-Haul’s Corporate Sustainability efforts and commitment to reducing carbon footprints by repurposing existing structures. The addition is anticipated to contribute to job growth within the Warner Robins community, with U-Haul aiming to hire at least 14 local team members.
