Primark’s BOPIS offer crashes the retailer’s website
November 14, 2022
Primark decided to run a 25-store test, giving customers in England the ability to buy items online and pick them up in-store. The offer led to a spike in traffic, which crashed the site. “It’s been great to see so much interest in the launch of our new Click + Collect trial,” a Primark spokesperson said. “We’re aware that some people have had issues accessing the website this morning and we’re working hard to address this to ensure that everyone can access and browse the site easily.”
