Teen outfitter Hot Topic reported yesterday that its second quarter earnings plunged 80 percent to $893,000, or 2 cents per share, from $4.5 million or 9 cents per share, a year earlier.

Waffle House workers in Conyers, Georgia, are now on their third day of striking over what they call the company’s unfair policies.
