Retail rents falling in Big Apple
The Wall Street Journal 07/22/2017Landlords are lowering the price of rentals and offering incentives to attract retail tenants to shops across Manhattan. The amount charged for rentals on the ground floor declined in 11 of 16 shopping corridors across New York City with overall rent prices falling 8.6 percent versus last year. Available space increased 34 percent.
