Retail sales fell in February

Retail sales began to slow last month ahead of the current coronavirus emergency. Gas stations saw the biggest drop, 2.8 percent, as gasoline prices fell. While total sales were down, 0.5 percent, retail revenues declined 0.4 percent excluding autos and parts.
