Retail sales slump for second straight month

U.S. retails sales declined 0.2 percent in March while revised government figures showed sales fell 0.3 percent in February rather than the initial report of a 0.1 percent gain. There is some good news, however: sales excluding autos and gas increased 0.1 percent last month as apparel, consumer electronics and e-commerce all posted gains.
