Retail sales took a step back in August
The Wall Street Journal 09/15/2017U.S. retail sales declined 0.2 percent in August as consumers cut back on purchasing from home improvement stores and car dealerships, according to the Commerce Department. The agency also revised its retail sales number from July to a gain of 0.3 percent and not the 0.6 percent gain initially reported.
