Retailers are deep discounting for the holidays
The Wall Street Journal 12/14/2016Price competition has forced retailers to offer deeper discounts for holiday season despite cutbacks in inventory intended to limit the need for markdowns and promotions. According to DynamicAction, the number of receipts that included promotions increased 79 percent during November versus the same period in 2015.
