Retailers Hide Modest Web Sales Behind Big Growth Numbers

Big retailers such as Target, Walmart and PetSmart, like to highlight the progress they are making in growing their digital sales. However, according to the Wall Street Journal, the Securities and Exchange Commission, in asking retailers to report actual sales results, is finding they represent “an immaterial amount of total sales.”
