Robots programmed to answer customer questions in stores

Technology vendors are working on different ways retailers can better leverage data insights and automate processes to run their businesses more efficiently and effectively. One example is Pepper, a robot developed by Softbank Robotics, that is intended to answer customer questions when human associates are working elsewhere.
