Ryan Cohen, the co-founder of Chewy who will take over as chairman of GameStop in June, has a plan focused on digital operations and improved customer service that he believes will turn the gaming retailer around. GameStop is ahead of scheduling in paying down its debt, so that will give Mr. Cohen and executive leadership at the chain some time, but whether the planned transformation will take place is simply a question at this point.
