Salmonella cases in 37 states tied to onions from Mexico

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating a salmonella outbreak in 37 states connected to whole onions imported from Chihuahua, Mexico. The outbreak has been tied to 652 illnesses and 129 hospitalization to date. There have been no deaths reported.
