Samsung recalls exploding washing machines

Samsung is recalling 2.8 million top-loading washing machines sold since March 2011 after reports of 730 units exploding. Nine injuries have been reported. Samsung recently discontinued its Galaxy Note after 7 smartphone after reports of the device catching on fire.
