Senator Calls for Investigation of Reusable Bags
The Tampa Tribune 11/14/2010Sen. Charles Schumer of New York has called on the Food and Drug Administration, Environmental Protection Agency and Consumer Product Safety Commission to investigate whether reusable bags sold at retail stores pose a danger to consumers. A recent investigation by The Tampa Tribune found some bags sold by grocers in that market had high levels of lead.
