Simon Says Target Should Hold Onto Real Estate

Richard Sokolov, president and chief operation officer at Simon Property Group, thinks it would be a mistake for Target to spin off its real estate assets. Mr. Sokolov said doing so would hurt Target’s credit rating, result in higher borrowing costs and limit the retailer’s financial flexibility.
