Starbucks is closing most of its 8,000 stores across the U.S. today for several hours as employees participate in a racial bias training session. The decision to close the stores was made after the chain came under intense pressure in the media for an incident at a Philadelphia location where two black men were arrested while waiting in the store for a business associate.
