Starbucks to launch ‘bean to cup’ blockchain pilot

Starbucks announced that it will begin a pilot program with farmers in Colombia, Costa Rica and Rwanda to track its coffee from “bean to cup.” The coffee giant’s CEO, Kevin Johnson, said the pilot was part of Starbucks’ effort to take “traceability and trust to the next level.”
