Study: Formula and Early Solids Linked to Obese Toddlers

A new study published in the journal, Pediatrics, could be potentially bad news for infant formula and baby food sales. The study found formula-fed babies who are given solids before they’re four months old are more likely to become obese than with kids for whom food is delayed. It also found formula-fed babies were more likely to be obese than breast-fed kids.
