Sweetgreen’s in San Francisco has launched a compostable bowl for takeout orders at the salad restaurant. The new bowls do not contain perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (AKA “Forever Chemicals”) that are used in molded fiber food packages used by other restaurant chains.
