Retailers including Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Lululemon and others are achieving sales gains in swimwear as the category has been growing at a 10 percent annualized rate during the first few months of 2018. A&F CEO Fran Horowitz said the company has benefited from a dialogue with customers about swimsuits through Instagram.
